New washer and dryer!!!!

Sorry I haven’t been blogging in a while but I have been so busy. I am going to try to start keeping up with this if there is anybody who reads this. I actually went and got to pick out a new washer and dryer. Ricky and I have had the same one since we got married and my parents gave it to us used and got them a new set. I got a whirlpool cabrio washer and dryer. AWESOME!!!!!! If you are in the market I would strongly recommend them. The washer holds so much laundry. I can do in one load what I could do in 3 of my old set. It does not have the big agitator in the middle so it is all open. When you take the clothes out of the washer they are almost dry. The washer has a sensor in it that feels up the water. You do not even have to set the water level. It does it for you that way no water is wasted. It just feels it up right above the clothes and turns off. The dryer is the bomb. It only takes about 30 min to dry a big load and it has a sensor that lets you know how dry the clothes are and it turns itself off when they are dry. That saves energy because on the old ones I would just let it run forever until it reached the end of the cycle. I know I am such a nerd about this but It would be like a guy getting a gun or electronics. I love my new washer and dryer. It makes my laundry washing go so much smoother. Our old set got donated to Anne because it still worked it was just getting on my nerves. It would only spin on certain cycles and I was fed up with it. THANKS TO RICKY!!!!!!!

Have you ever felt dumb for saying yes? Well I do today. I am over my kids fall festival at school and I was told today that both of my kids teachers nominated me as the home room mom. I did not mind being over the fall festival but I am flying blind. I have no idea what I am doing. I am learning slowly. It is kinda driving me crazy because I am so organized and I like to have my ducks in a row. When you are working with people it drives me crazy when you ask them about how something needs to be done or if something fell through and what the back up plan is and they say “I don’t know we will figure it out later”. The way I function is we need to figure it out now. As far as the home room mom thing goes I told both of my kids teachers I would help out if needed. I guess I am the only dumb person that said that. I really don’t mind doing it though. I love my kids and they mean the world to me. It just amazes me at how may people do not take part in their kids school. They should not only have one volunteer from each class they should have several. Parents now days act like well I drop my kids off on time and come pick them up on time and we attend some of the things for PTA ( like the fall festival) and that is good enough. I voulunteered under the impression that other people were voulunteering to. I love my kids though. Aren’t they cute.

After discovering that everyone has a blog I have decided to jump on board. I don’t know how great I will be at this but I guess we will soon find out. I hope people actually read my blog.
